I've played in T4545 league for ~12 tourneys and I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about joining. It's cool to have teammates and to root for each other. If anyone has questions about the league then feel free to pm me or ask here and I'll do my best to answer.

Ten games down, ten to go...the computers play fast so I should be able to rack up the 20 without a problem even if I can't get human opposition.

Using Dasher, how do I play against the computer for games to count? I thought I was but I can't find anywhere that shows I have played a rated game. I am not going to make it at this rate.

two options, use the seek graph or alternatively type: "sought s" in the control panel and just play one of the games by typing "play <number>"

A couple of the common comps are slowmoe and slowbo.

To play either of them just type: "play slowmoe" or "play slowbo" SlowBo is somewhat stronger than SlowMoe.

Squares that are filled in and green are computers available for rated games.

Just so there's no confusion, here are the steps everyone needs to follow:

1. Get 20 rated standard games
2. Go to http://team4545league.org/index.html and click "Player Menu"
3. Fill out the form and submit it.
4. Type "g-join Team4545League" without the quotes in the ICC menu.
5. Post here that you have done this if you want to join the 2+2 team.

Ok, crunch time. We have ~10 hours to get a team registered. In order to register a team, we need 4 people who have 20 rated games played and have signed up on the Team4545 League webpage. So far I have TimM and myself. We can make substitutions and additions to the roster later, but we do need 4 people today! I'm assuming Dire still wants to play so I will enter us into the U2200 section assuming we get 4 people.

Ok, 20 games all set, form filled out, group applied.

Okay, Dire is all set so I just added a random from the Interested Player List in order to have the team set. Our team name is 101 Man Onslaught. Sorry in advance for the lame name Average rating 2160 (thanks Dire!) so we're a little below the median for the division, however since we all just raced to get 20, I expect us to do quite well.

We still need at least one more player! The random won't necessarily stay with us or even want to play. I just added him to make sure that we get a team entered in time. Post here if you're interested and make sure you post once you have 20 rated standard games and have filled out the player profile! We can add or replace player for a few weeks, so there's time to get the games played.

Sorry to anyone I left out. I really had hoped to get 2 teams, but the time constraint was pretty tough. The next tournament is in 3 months and if this goes well, hopefully we can have get several teams for that tournament.

I'm really sorry that this was so crazy and I hope there are no hard feelings. Uitje - if something comes up with any of the people, I'll pm you. Sorry again. Exist - I'm sure you'd be great on the team, but you'd wreck havoc on our team average and get us kicked out of the tournament If Dire cannot play some week, I'll pm you since he's the one pushing us over the top as it is.

In other news, the Team 4545 powers apparently don't like a team full of league noobs. They want to put an non-playing, experienced player on our team to help with captaining duties and any problems that might come up.
