You don't appear to be a member of the group knightrunnermatt, please go to this thread if you want to join http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/14...ss-com-925794/ then I'll add you to the ladder.

It would be great if we could get a few more to join! I'm not sure if it's worthwhile with the current numbers, though I guess more people could join gradually.

Just requested to join (not sure why I've waited so long, tbh). Ladder sounds interesting.

Nice, with you guys we would have 10 so it does actually look quite promising. I might have been being a little pessimistic.

I'm excited about this, although my game is still in its beginner stages. Should still be really fun though.

I'm glad, I hope it would be fun while being an excuse for 2+2 members to play with each other. Also there's no harm in trying to battle your way up the ladder, trying to get a personal best or something.
It will be interesting to see how it goes at the top with two FIDE masters and chess_noir @ 2200. Obviously be extremely tough for most of the rest of us to get among the top spots even for a while

Correspondence rating can be highly variable in my experience. There's a big difference between someone who plays 30 games at once and thinks quickly for each move and the same person who plays 5 games and thinks forever while utilizing the analysis board and opening databases. I'm sure you could play at your actual strength (which i know is high) if you put the effort in.

Updated ladder standings are now in the first post of this thread. I'll do my best to keep them up to date here (though they will only be as accurate as the ones that plastic/LIGAF has posted in the chess.com thread. Remember, THAT is the "official" thread, the place to check the standings, make challenges, etcetera. The info here is just a mirror.)

Where's the NSholar-Wlrs game?

I'll issue a challenge soon; I need to focus on/finish a couple of tourny games first :-)

To be honest, the skill gap there is so high that even when I'm expending a lot of effort on the games, he outclasses me. (The small ratings gap is very deceptive.)

Haha, well, my best chance is still lulling you into dropping a piece. We'll see whether WIM can overcome Elo.

One thing that would be excellent is to have links to all of the finished games somewhere, maybe on chess.com where they can be edited in to a locked thread.
