First question, is anyone currently running or able to run XG2 in Tutor Mode with the Help and Tutor Level set at XG Roller++ (not just XG Roller+)? What kind of computer/processor/RAM are you doing this with?
I'm looking to purchase a new computer soon and am looking for something that can run Tutor Mode with the Help and Tutor Level as XG Roller++ because my current laptop can't. I'm not sure yet if the new computer will be a laptop or desktop. Currently, I'm using a quad core (8 thread) Dell XPS 15 that's more than 2 years old. It does okay in Tutor Mode at XG Roller+, but struggles/fails at XG Roller++.
Here's what I'm currently trying to run...
I go to the Options menu and select Configuration Wizard.
On Step 1 of 9,
I select Professional Mode.
On Calibration (Step 6 of 9), I see the following:
CPU Speed: 2.81 GHz (x8)
Evaluation Speed: 5,652,960 pos/s
Comment: Super-fast computer
On Levels (Step 7 of 9),
I select default opponent as "Champion" and "Analyze Level" as "World Class"
On Game Mode (Step 8 of 9),
Above, I select "Tutor Mode" and below I select Help and Tutor Level as "XG Roller++"
How many cores/threads, what processor base speed/turbo do I need? Would I be better off with 12 cores than 8 (24 threads rather than 16)?
How much RAM do I need and would I be better off with 16GB at 3200 MHz or 32GB at 2666 MHz?

I'll just point out that there's very little difference between XGR+ and XGR++. Seems like you might be going through a lot of time and money to affect a tiny change in a few close evaluations.
