Have emailed XG support 3 times in the past 3 weeks and have received NO response. Has anyone else had the same experience with them?

Thanks..! I am just very disappointed that they don't even bother to reply considering that I bought and paid for the full program as recently as Oct last year in order to prepare for the Cyprus tournament.

As I use a Mac I had to download "Wine" in order to make it run. It worked fine but now when I try to open the program it won't, and I don't even find my activation code.

Today I took my MacBook to a Mac specialist and the guy there said the problem was due to it needing 64-bit authentication, and I had been using 32-bit. (I don't understand this because, as I said, it was working perfectly before). At first he thought he had succeeded but after spending about 20 minutes doing this and that and downloading Wine again and again, he finally said he couldn't get it to work and said I would have to book it in at some considerable cost.

I understand the program is not supported on Macs but I am quite prepared to buy a basic Windows lap book/netbook just to run XG but, as I said, I don't have my activation code - and I don't think I should have to pay again. You would think XG gammon support would at the very least reply to my email and give me that piece of information. Their lack of response is totally unethical behaviour.

Could this be any help to understand the nature of the problem....?
Hopefully some computer geek will be able to interpret all this....

Xavier has now contacted me and apologised for the fact that my emails to "support" went into a spam folder. He wouldn't have known unless a kind reader here - kudos to that person - hadn't spotted my post and contacted him.

I am giving up on using my Mac - even though it worked fine before - and have now bought a basic windows computer specifically for XG practice. Xavier has also emailed me my activation code so hopefully all should go well. My sincere thanks to Xavier and, of course, Bill Robertie.

I recently purchase Extreme Gammon and have it running without any issues on
My Mac using Wine Windows Emulator. I took the instructions from this article:

I have been having similar luck with extreme gammon 2 support. I am running it, or at least trying to, on an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970x and windows 10 pro 64 bit. Extreme Gammon 2 crashes all the time and won't reload the match when it does. In addition to this it just hangs. I have been reporting these and other bugs to support and get no response.

From the XG Help files:

"I lost my activation code, what should I do?"

If you have eXtreme Gammon installed and activated on a computer, go to the menu "Help>>Registration". Click on "Activation Manager", it will list all your activation and more importantly show you your activation code.
If you do not have the program installed, just install it and start the program. When the activation dialog opens, click on the button "Forgot your key?". Follow the information on the screen to get your activation code emailed to you
If you do not have access to the email address you used to register, contact us as support@extremegammon.com


I realize this isn't needed any longer, but I'm posting it here for others who it might help in the future.
