Hi all,

Did XG "random" dice generator make you tilt enough? Did you brake 3 or four mouses per night when training with the bot? Did you have enough of 17-1 joker rolled by XG? Do you want to stop bot's high doubles when defending an holding game? Do you want to roll small during backgames?

We have an immediate solution: EXTERNAL DICE GENERATOR. Here's what I found on the internet:

Quote:
Open XG, Go to the "Options" menu, "Settings" menu, "Main Settings" tab. At the bottom there is "External Dice Generator". Click on the radio button to select it. You must now select a DLL. TO the right of the DLL box there is a "..." (or a folder with green arrow) button. Click that. XG generally displays the directory it is installed into. In the short list of files is a folder called "dice dll". Double click it. There are a few entries but one should see "randomorg.dll". Double click to choose it. Click "Apply" button and then "Ok"
.

But one may ask "Ok buddy, but how can I be sure that the bot really uses random.org numbers?"

Easy answer: When you use that dll, pops out a tab in which appears the incoming number. The bot is obliged to use that list and you can control if it cheats.

Clearly you can hide that tab and play as usual, or you can copy paste the rolls and check out in the end. It's just to keep an eye on the bots.

I think it's worth menitioning it, because most beginners/weak intermediate may be convinced with a concrete proof that the bots doesn't cheat at all; Because, aside top class players, I think we all think in our deep heart's core that sometimes rolls are a little strange, dont'we?

You can also create you own dice library with even very limited programming knowledge.

All the information about external dice library is described in the XG's Help in the section "Technical information>>dice".

The source code of the all external libraries delivered with XG is also included in the "dice DLL" folder.
