Hi all, i'm from iPhone 5s. Today I wanted to play in XG mobile app. I payed for that say 8 months ago the full version (about 5 $). Now it upgraded at version 1.1 and i lost the full version. To play longer matches or play XG at max level i have to pay another 8 dolla, and i think it's unfair!!

Fllecha, there should be a "restore" button in the app somewhere that lets you restore in-app purchases that you previously purchased without paying again. Also, even if there isn't a restore button, if you try to buy an IAP that you've already purchased, Apple's system knows, and it pops up a window saying that you've already purchased it, so you'll get it for free. This assumes that 1) you're using the same iTunes account that you originally purchased with, and 2) the IAP you're buying again has the same product ID as the one you originally purchased. You may want to contact Xavier directly to verify if you're not sure.

Ty nj! I am from phone, but tomorrow i Will contact xavier... Couldnt find a restore button, and if i try to buy my app he simply opens it... Btw very soon i Will open a thread on nj backgammon which Now im enjoying

Sorry about that. The system is supposed to say "Restore purchase" in case you already purchased it. It worked in the beta version, but apparently something behave differently on the published version.

If your ask to purchase, it will prompt you for your Apple ID password. Once you enter your password, you will prompted to “Confirm Your in-App purchase”, say “Buy”. Then the app store will tell you “You’ve already purchase this, would you like to get it again for free?”. Answer “OK” and you will be all set. In other words Apple will not charge you for it.

Sorry for the confusion, I am working on an update to add the “Restore purchase” button.

Note: You can check your purchase history on iTunes (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2727) XG Mobile should never show there more than once.

Thanks for the advice. But Now if i try to purchase it crashes. Or some timer the purchase button became black-color but all stops there and i cant insert my Apple pass... So confused

I'm having similar problems with XG Mobile. Can't set game length beyond 3, many crashes, frozen checkers. Keeps prompting me to upgrade. Paid for the app twice and am irritated and very frustrated with the support at XG. Buyer beware.

it looks like it was removed from the itunes store (at least in the US)

i suspect that the developer is making changes and that things will be back to normal once a build that is less confusing has been published

Yes, that's exactly what i am doing. The new update is pending review and i asked Apple to expedite it. I am not sure how long it will take.

Status update on the iOS Version inability to restore purchase.

Hello everyone,

We very much share your frustration with the problem on restoring purchase on iOS. However there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.

I've been working with Apple tech support and apparently, on iOS 8 something changed slightly and restoring purchase may behave differently than on iOS 7 or 6 if the payment queue is initialized too soon (which was the case for XG mobile).

A new version is submitted in the App store, delaying the initialization of the In app purchase module, and is pending (expedited) review. Hopefully Apple will grant the expedited review and it will be available soon.
