Hello!

Where should one move all the ones?

You could play safely with 13/11 5/4(2), but the 3 duplication is so compelling that it seems worth the risk to play 13/12 11/10(2) 6/5 in order to keep a better front position.

I thought 13/10,12/10 shooting at the 4, but I give 2 good numbers. I also reasoned about 2x3/1* buying me some time to free my backchecker. Couldn't resist to peak. Boy am I wrong....

I would play 13/11 3/2(2)

What about 13/10 6/5? Not completely safe but minimizes the shots and brings a builder for the 4-pt.

Although I like what _Z_ suggested with the duplicated 3s.

13/10 12/10 is impossible. And it would be five 1s.

especially difficult because there is no checker on the 12. 13/10,11/10

I could be way wrong on this one (and probably am), but IÂ’m giving some serious thought to 6/4 13/11 here. If we make the 4 point we no longer have to fear an attack on our back checker. We should be able to roll the front position forward and close out blacks straggler without too much trouble, making sure we take any opportunities to extricate our own rear checker. Getting hit would not be great, but it isnÂ’t a total disaster either since it gives us a chance to anchor.

On second look, if IÂ’m going outside the box here it probably should be 6/4 5/4 13/12 instead, slotting the five point and giving sixes as a direct cover number. 13/12 duplicates threes so not picking up that blot doesnÂ’t really increase our risk significantly.
