Are there boards with points numbered? Are there boards with points numbered?

Hello gamers,
I have wondered for some time now as to why there are no backgammon boards around that have the points on them already numbered. One source told me before that they are not available that way, so I just took an older board of mine and a magic marker and numbered the points in both directions. It looks okay, but I'm certainly not doing that to my much nicer large board. Having them marked just makes it easier for me to study and practice.
Can someone shed some light on this for me? Are there any boards out there that are numbered that I'm just not aware of? It just seems to me that there would have to be?
Any comments are much appreciated. Thanks so much.
Rick

I've never seen a board like that. The fact that every point has to have two numbers on it (since a 5 point is also a 20 point) that's a lot of a extra stuff on the board.

I would recommend just practicing -- when you see a checker on a point, figure out what number it is and it should become second nature pretty quickly.

I've never seen such a board. After you've played for a while, you'll know which point is which.
