It's great that I see a backgammonforum now!
So that why I want to thank Robertie and 2+2.

I hope more players will catch on to this forum, and i hope it will become THE backgammonforum. We already have Bill Robertie here. I hope maybe one day we will see Neil Kazaros here too, i know he used to be active on the rec.backgammon newsgroup. And who knows who else!

Popeye!

PS: actually Bill Robertie is my inspiration for playing backgammon about 5 years ago in the first place. I once saw 'backgammon for winners' in a secondhand bookstore here in Amsterdam, I bought it just for fun, I was not that interested in backgammon, but more interested in games in general. But when I read the book, I fell in love with backgammon! Thanks Bill!

Glad you enjoyed the book!

I'm letting people in the BG world know about the forum, and hopefully some of them will start to migrate over here.

Bill, what might be quite useful is if you could sell some of your books (maybe in pdf format) through the book store here. In the UK at least its quite tough to get hold of BG books, amazon makes it easier obv, but selling through here might work well in concert with the forum.

We'll have a banner ad here shortly, but all the books are available at www.thegammonpress.com. We ship to the UK by airmail promptly. (We also carry all of Kit Woolsey's books, and a few others as well, including Mike Corbett's new book, Backgammon Problems.)
