Hi all,
White - Pips 138

Black - Pips 140
White on roll. Cube action?

Maybe it's the simplest cube ever but I can't understand why on earth is a take (passing is 0.3 blunder).

By the prat rule it's a drop: behind in race (ok, not by much, but behind), no position at all, threat of being stuck behind a 6 prime...

White is about to build a 5-6 prime, my backmen are out of position because they are split and they don't press upon white's builders. My homeboard is overstretched and full of gaps and without trace of counterplay. Why is a take?

can someone explain please?

White still has some work to do on his prime. If in the mean time black can get an anchor in whites home base, he will have more time to work on his prime than white. White does not have that great timing here. White still has 2 checkers in blacks home base that are far from safety. He needs those checkers to create more time, but there is no guarantee he can do that.

No way I am dropping this cube. I would double for white here because if I make a key point on the prime and black doesn't anchor up I will probably lose my market.
