More than a week and the casual players don't get their ratings conversion on the Backgammon Galaxy app. But, since yesterday, new players have shown up on the top 100 ratings list. Of course, they are all famous players who got their conversion. They are easy to spot, because their rating is rounded (no decimal, unlike the other players) Then, you can go to the leaderboard, choose the country they are from (based on the flag next to their username), click their username, then you will see a legendary avatar, confirming my theory.
All this is a lack of respect for the casual players. If you are not a famous player, Backgammon Galaxy don't care about you. Marc Olsen should be ashamed of himself. Another greedy ******* from the 1% who only think about his pockets. I guess having a pool like this (

He have to racket the casual players with is dumb coin system and strip them of their ratings achieved with a lot of hard work and time spent playing the game. He is not good enough to make a living playing backgammon, (always making huge cube blunders) so he need his stupid app to make money. Also, he try to sell a book, but the editing was really bad and the book was full of translation mistakes (I read this on a thread on this forum, I will post the link soon) so again, he need his stupid app to make money, because he is not good enough to make money others ways.
Also, unlike the old site, if you lose the game but win the PR, you lose rating points. I lost 4 games in a row (winning the PR by a huge margin), so I lost 70 rating points trying to regain my rating by myself. Also, I played a guy rated 1600, but he was 2600 + on the old site (I remembered his username), so I lost more rating points than I should against him. All this bullshit is totally unfair. I am on the verge of boycotting Backgammon Galaxy for ever.
