I reasoned like stremba but the computer likes paying off the 55 to keep the spares a little higher.
So I guess the idea is you save more than a blot number later on by paying off the 55 now? That seems a little weird but maybe it's right. I would think it's also preferring to be hit earlier because if you get hit early White may still have a couple checkers on the roof, but that doesn't seem to be a major factor. Even if I close White board or only put 2 on the roof, the computer still seems to dislike 9/2.
