I'm new to forums so please forgive me and put me right if i'm breaking any protocols here...

I've been reading Taper Mike's and other posts from 2014 on this subject and wondering how Mike and others are currently doing with position databases. Do they link to analysis files, or even better, do they read data from those files to return a selection of moves to choose from (equities not shown prior to choice)?

I'm just looking at ways of storing and retrieving BG positions. Might be a sort of build your own BG quiz database. Positions would have to be linked to analysis files. Ideally you'd want to view a position and choose your play. Your move choice would be logged in terms of equity loss (if any) for that position. You could make it so that positions were weighted for selection according to your previous move choices for that position. Positions you were poor at would appear frequently. As you improved on a position it's selection weight would decrease and it would appear less frequently. The positions would be categorized. The selection weights could take in categories. Your performance stats by category could be assembled from the database scores, etc.

Thanks for any advice you may give me
