During a 3-point match n FIBS against a strong bot (GammonBot rated about 2100) occurred this position

White - Pips 161. Match Score 0/3

Black - Pips 162. Match Score 1/3
White on roll. Cube action?
Created with www.BGdiagram.com

The bot doubled me (I am leading 1-0) and I jumped on my seat because it seemed to me a bluder (he gives me the option to win the match and he only played a 1-move opening.

I thought that my opening was one of the worst and he made a home point so obv he is a small favourite (actually 55-45) but I think that the cube was somewhat premature. After reading Kit Woolsey 5-point match play I know that the 0-point player has do double very quickly on a 3 point match trailing 1-0, but -I ask-is correct to double so quickly?

After a rollout the cube is quite small, an optional one, but I ask if this kind of double is so standard to consider.
Spoiler:
Obv after my ista-take he rolled 44 hitting me and closing his 2 point and I rolled 66 (std) and he rolled 55 and I lost a gammon and the match so maybe I'm still tilted about that, sorry

When trailing in a match and giving a cube which will be dead for your opponent, you can be very aggressive. Here White is obviously a favorite with some gammon chances, so the cube seems OK. In real life I would tend to take a roll and see if I could get to a position where my opponent might pass.

I can't think of a situation where that cube isn't a take.
