Hi, used the 2p2 search function and google, but wasn't able to find anything, but I imagine there must be some (at least low stakes) backgammon tourneys in Las Vegas. Anyone know of any? Thanks!

The Las Vegas Backgammon Club meets at 7 p.m. at Jackson's Bar and Grill. It's $10 and you can rebuy.

They play on Tuesday nights. Show up a few minutes early to make sure you get in the main draw.

I've been there a few times. They're (generally) nice people and there's a lot of range of skill. I've heard that some of them do a study session and chouette before, but you'll have to ask about that when you get there.

The only downside is that you can sometimes be stuck there very late if you go deep into the tournament. The pace of play is somewhat slow for a lot of the older guys there.

There are two events on the American Backgammon Tour (ABT) played in Las Vegas, the Nevada State Tournament (April) and the Las Vegas Open (November).
