Another bad experience at www.yahoo.com. Some moran repeatedly plays sloooowly whilst losing then gets miraculous dice to turn it round and win.

I am crushing the players at yahoo. I am a red band player (highest band) and wanted to become the highest rated player there (not difficult for any of us posting in here) but I am tired of all the bad behaviour.

Can anyone recommend a bg site that has some kind of **timed** matches for non-gambling bg players?

Any and all advice appreciated.

I play for money at Carbon Poker. I can't really rave about it since the GUI sucks and there's not a lot of players. I'd say the only reason I continue is that it's the only place I can play for money since I was able to fund my account and still use my real identity.

I recently started playing at PlayWSOB.com, I found it through a link on Andy Bell's video site from here. I can't fund the account since they don't accept deposits from USA players so I trying to win some of the freerolls they have. I signed up using my real identity there as well.

I also have an account at GamesGrid.com which I think I saw in the back of one of Bill Robertie's books.I can't fund there either. I like playing there since the GUI is good, it runs in a browser (no software to download), and they have these "bots" to play. They have a "probot" that plays an extremely tough game, very hard to beat.

One thing about the PlayWSOB site. you can download the matches you play and analysis them in Gnubg. I've been keeping track of my error rate and trying to improve my game. I would be happy to fund either one of these sites but like I said they don't accept deposits from USA players.

I'd love to know if anyone has a good site that accepts deposits from USA players like myself.

Try out Safe Harbor Games, if you play in the tournaments you will get a higher level of competition than Yahoo. Stay away from the red dice rooms, however.

I play for a rating at gamecolony.com you can set a time starting with 30 seconds per move. I have analysed some games from that site with gnu and my feeling combined with those analysis give me a good feeling about the site.

It's free to register, you only need an e-mail adress where they can send your e-mailed games,

greetings k.

It will be Al Mirpuri or some variant depending on what letters and other symbols they allow in names.

Started messing around on that site too under sn 'Mr Picto' so hope to see one of you soon. Maybe try and arrange a few matches amongst any of the 2+2 regulars?

I have joined up and am using the name: disinterested.

Is it possible to save games for analysis?

Hi Mirpuri,

yes its possible, and i just found out how:

In gamecolony you can send the game to e-mail
Then you copy and paste the match-notation to a notepad
you save it as a txt file
and you open the txt file in gnu, simply by choosing open and doubling clicking the txt file.

I only know how it works in gnu, and i know you can get gnu for free,

greetings k.
