Thanks for your wonderful contributions to backgammon, chess and poker.
PS I really hope your life at 70 years now will be more vibrant than the forum at the moment.

Yogiman --
Thanks much! My wife and I had a nice celebratory dinner out last night at Smith and Wollensky's in Boston. A good time was had by all.
I've been very busy lately working on a new book, as well as typesetting Kit's new book. Once Kit's book is out I'll have more time to post stuff on the forum. Meanwhile, I'll eb happy to comment on any problems people want to post.

Happy 70th. I've enjoyed your books and your contributions here as well.
What general concepts do Kit's and your new books cover?

Kit's book is Volume 2 of his "Backgammon Encyclopedia" series. Lots of typical positions from various stages of the game, with variations showing how small changes in the position can affect the doubling strategy. If you liked Volume 1 (now out of print) you should like Volume 2 as well. It will be the next book we publish, sometime in the fall.
I'll have more to say about my book as we get closer to publication.

Belated congratulations to you. I bought the HOH poker books because of your involvement. I look forward to your new books.
