Ok...I just downloaded GNU and have been playing around a bit. Is there a way I can set it to track my play over time to develop a rating score?

As far as I know, there's nothing in GNU that will track this for you. The people I know who use GNU and want to track their error rates over time just use a spreadsheet.

You can add the analysis of your games to a database (via Analyze menu). AFAIK it will only show your overall checkerplay/cubeplay errorrate for all games played, no fancy filter options that the commercial programs have.
