Turning on gammons in XG money games. Turning on gammons in XG money games.

I've been playing a lot against XG recently in the unlimited games mode and when I beat the sucker for a backgammon or gammon I only get given one point for the session.

Two questions:

-Is there any way of changing the settings so that (back)gammons are afforded the proper amount of points?
-Has XG been taking (back)gammons into account when analysing my play if every type of victory is only worth one point?

Worth mentioning that I've mostly been playing cubeless games.

Thanks.

Sounds like Jacoby rule is ON.

Settings > Game rules > Jacoby

In money games, gammons and backgammons don't count unless the cube has been turned. (This is known as the Jacoby Rule.) So XG has been scoring properly. If you want to play without the doubling cube but with gammons and backgammons counting, you need to turn the Jacoby Rule off, as suggested above.

So I turned the Jacoby Rule off and everything's sorted now. Thanks a lot lads, much appreciated.
