Wow. Lot of nostalgia coming back to this forum. It’s been quite a while. I just recently got back into backgammon after a number of busy years away from studying the game.

I’m just started playing on galaxy, and I’m curious how the ratings compare to the old gridgammon ratings. Seems like the galaxy ratings are skewed significantly higher, based on the rating method but by how much? Would a 2000 player on galaxy have been more like a 1700-1800 on gridgammon?

I get that PR is the important thing to pay attention to, but just curious if anyone had any insight. Thanks!
