PR never affect the Elo, only the result does.
In unlimited game Elo is calculated as follow:
- ExpectedPPG = (DElo/50)*0.100
- Elo gained = (result - ExpectedPPG) * K
where K is 5 for a player with no experience and goes down to 1 once the player reach 400 experience.
For instance if you are 200 Elo point weaker than the bot
ExpectedPPG=-0.4
- If you lose one point change=( -1 - (-0.4) )*5 = -3
- If you win one point change=( +1 - (-0.4) )*5 = +7
- If you win tow point change=( +2 - (-0.4) )*5 = +12
Now, if you have a large Elo difference you can actually gain Elo if you lose a single game as your expected ppg is less than -1:
with 600 Elo difference
ExpectedPPG=-1.4
- If you lose four point change=( -4 - (-1.4) )*5 = -13
- If you lose two point change=( -2 - (-1.4) )*5 = -3
- If you lose one point change=( -1 - (-1.4) )*5 = +2
- If you win one point change=( +1 - (-1.4) )*5 = +12
- If you win two point change=( +2 - (-1.4) )*5 = +17
If over 10 games you
- lose 2 games at 4
- lose 4 games at 2
- lose 2 games at 1
- win 2 games at 2
you lost 14 points or 1.4 ppg and your Elo change is 2*(-13)+4*(-3)+2*(+2)+2*(+17)=0
As you performed exactly as expected your Elo does not change.
I hope this clarify the process.
