Hi all,

5-point match with black leading 2-0

a) Cube action?
b) What's the cube action on black leading 2-1?

White - Pips 153. Match Score 0/5

Black - Pips 169. Match Score 2/5
White on roll. Cube action?

Looks like a routine double/take to me. What's the catch?

The catch is the match score of course.

For my eyes, this looks pretty scary for money even. After all you are down in the race, outboarded, completely undeveloped and likely to have two men on the bar next turn.

So from a PRAT perspective this game sucks - lean towards drop.

And yet the game is young and you will probably anchor somewhere and be able to play form there. I would guess this is a grin and bear it take for money though I might pass sue to the scare factor.

Leading 3 away 5 away the trailer's gammon value jumps to about .75. If my above analysis is correct (that it sucks for money but might be a take) then my guess would be pass a this score.

Leading 3 away 4 away the trailer's gammon value is almost 1.0 I'd be crapping my pants, and would probably pass before the cube hits the table even. I wouldn't be surprised if position is too good even as the pass seems obvious (from my POV anyway).
