Could be double, pass. On average black needs two turns to get in, and will have a better timing. If black hits white, white will enter more easily than black will.

I take here and probably next move after fan, 4-1 for instance. Double surrenders most of blacks gammon superiority so No double.

If you say it's no double (too good) for black, why would you then take as White?

He's not saying that it's too good, he's saying that playing for 4 in a 2-2 match to 7 makes black's extra gammons worth a lot less (the difference between 7-2 and 6-2 scores instead of the difference between 6-2 and 4-2) and citing that as a reason not to double.

Thanks, I was wrongly in a cash game mindset.

Well,me,as white, I passed this recube in the match, scared of a 4ponts-loss ending up 5away crawford. XG ++ saw my pass as a bigger error than the short RO I did now. Checking the tables, I need 28,4 % for taking. I have less and loose 7,5 % more gammons than black. So normally I should need ~ 32%, or am I calculating wrong? XG says, that I have about 26 % , so he takes because of recube vig?
Analysing the Position I see my chances just in fast entries by black and him cracking first. In a money game I would have taken, but ATS I am clueless...
