Which is worse. Errors made in checker play or cube play? For instance you play a match with a 12 er but your checker play was a 7 er but erred on the cube and got 12 total er versus having an er of 12 with no errors in cube play.

There is an audio interview with Robertie on youtube and the interviewers asked him which were more costly, checker errors or cube errors, and he replied that it was checkers errors due to the frequency of checker decisions as opposed to cube decisions.

An individual cube error can be very costly. But over the course of a match or a long money session, the number of checker decisions will swamp the number of cube decisions.
