I'm using Linux and wanted to find the best option for playing online with other backgammon players. A lot of servers have only Windows / Mac clients.

Is FIBS still working? Where are people playing? What are the best browser-based backgammon websites that support matches, doubling, Crawford rule, etc?

I've been looking over the past weeks and don't seem to find solid options.

One possibility is to play on BackgammonAce under Nox android simulator for linux

I do that on my mac. They also have a PC version.

Then you can download your games with http://www.fishbust.com/bgace

and analyze those in the software of your choice.
