We're up 9 after we move. We have a 5-point board and he has a 2-point board with two blots. Put all that together and it says we should be racing, not holding. If we wait, he puts his board together and our board starts to crumble.

If we want to race we have two choices: 20/11 and 20/15 20/16. The general rule when you've decided to leave the anchor is to leave with both men if you can. No reason to think this is an exception, so I'm playing 20/15 20/16.

And XG agrees with you Bill. This was another case of my reluctance to leave the safety of a strong anchor to the detriment of my end game. Your explanation is appreciated - I did not know that was the general rule - this is a good lesson for me.
