There hasn't been an awful lot, but here are some highlights:

The most recent article of general interest was a piece by Troy Patterson in Bloomberg, Dec. 9, 2016. It covered a few bases and spotlighted Victor Ashkenazi, a trader at Goldman Sachs, as the best American player at that time.

A recent novel by Jonathan Lethem, Gambler's Anatomy, had a backgammon subplot.

The New York Times ran an obituary of Paul Magriel on March 9, 2018 which was generally accurate. Paul had been their backgammon columnist for four years, 1977-1981, and produced over 100 good columns.
