I think, strongest on android is actually nj backgammon. After the match or moneygame u can send it per email to your pc and run the xg analyse. I played many matches and it had in average a 1,8 PR

I haven't read any mention of Advanced Backgammon which I have on my iPhone/iPad. I like to play Acey Deucey, and this is the only backgammon ap I have found with AD as an option.

I've never played the backgammon option, but suspect the opponent moves are as predictable and as single minded as in the Acey Deucey play. I play many AD games on a real board and have never encountered strings of doubles or 1-2 rolls for my opponent or me that issue forth from this ap. I win about 2/3rds of the games and would like a better challenge. Any suggestions?

Touch choice actually. Many apps at the market right now, but no one is perfect.

NJ backgammon - good single play, lacking online, generally good.
eXtreme gammon - lacks android version. Otherwise looks like a good app.
Backgammon Masters - strong online and graphics, but not so good single player.

I play them all actually.

For iOS I've been using Backgammon NJ to play against opponents online via Game Center and XG Mobile for playing against the computer, as the AI is much stronger.

I'm hoping that XG Mobile will be available via the Amazon App Store soon in order to install on a Kindle, as it is sometimes difficult to quickly set up positions on a smaller screen.

There is a new option for any device, any OS (with internet access and at least a mobile phone sized screen. So on your Apple watch maybe not..). I posted an article about it but it looks like it was deleted? You'll have to ask Bill about this new site.
