I don't know how to approach it quantitatively. Bar/20 is forced and then there are just three plays.
13/7 looks terrible, exposing another blot for no reason.
8/2 starts the wrong point. Black wants his 4-point next.
24/14 leaves minimum exposure, and if White doesn't hit Black can at least play a 4-point game with reasonable chances of getting a shot and minimal chances of being gammoned. That's the play.
