White - Pips 89 (-55)

Black - Pips 144 (+55)
Black to Play 6-5

How do you approach this type of positions quantitatively?

What is your play and why?

Re: 6-5 and maximizing contact

I don't know how to approach it quantitatively. Bar/20 is forced and then there are just three plays.

13/7 looks terrible, exposing another blot for no reason.

8/2 starts the wrong point. Black wants his 4-point next.

24/14 leaves minimum exposure, and if White doesn't hit Black can at least play a 4-point game with reasonable chances of getting a shot and minimal chances of being gammoned. That's the play.
