I am tempted to just get the 15 blot safe, moving him to 8.

I'll try 13/7 6/5. The extra shot doesn't seem to bad and a few more bad rolls for white..65 42

I thought this at first too. But after looking, leaving the blot on the 15 is only 2 more shots than leaving the blot on 13. (1s and 64 on the 13, versus 3s + 66 on the 15). In addition to making some roll worse for white, getting hit from the 15 is better for you than getting hit from 13. You lose 2 more pips in the race from the 13
