I've had the newest version of 501 Essential Backgammon Problems in my Amazon UK wish-list for a while, however the release date keeps getting pushed back. Not sure this is just in the UK or a problem in the US also. At the moment Amazon UK says it will be released on 26th April, however I'm sure this has been delayed at least a couple of times already.

I'm happy to wait if I can get a copy in the foreseeable future, but if it gets delayed again is it worth buying the current edition? I can't figure out if the new release is just a reprint of the current edition, or if there is actually new and updated material.

Since the great man himself hosts this forum, I might even get a reply straight from the horse's mouth :-)

The new release is a reprint of the current edition. You can buy the current edition at The Gammon Press.

Thanks Bill, I’ll see if I can find a copy of the last edition. It is a bit more difficult to get hold of it in the UK unfortunately.
