I'm playing 3 to the 8. While typically one disengages from the back when clearing, in this case I would rather keep the point that's not in direct contact with the opposing defensive position.

Thank you, that was my thinking when I made this move to 'disengage' as much as possible.
Unfortunately XG did not agree with me and preferred to leave 13 shots for a chance to pick up more opponent's blots.

I read somewhere that gammons pay double. Call me greedy.
