Obviously, you need to hit in the variant in which the ace point is NOT made...you need to protect yourself from the thin counterpriming chances that running without hitting entails. I assume that this is a cash game. You do not own the cube, so hitting in the variant with the ace point made entails more risk than what not hitting and just passing by would entail. Why? Because your opponent might anchor on the three and be in the game forever. I think that it is close here, but, since you currently have no active builders riding on top of the ship that is your six prime platform, and, your opponent enters 3/4 of the time post hit, either anchoring or preparing for loose hits in some other way, it is probably slightly worse to hit here. If you had only one active builder, hit.
