Mochy posted this nice update at BGO describing some of the action at this year's Japan Open.

Among other things, he reports that there are some well-known U.S. players in the competition, to wit: Phil Simborg, Dan Simbog, Carter Mattig, Jake Jacobs, MCG, Patrick Gibson, Douglas Mayfield, Tuvya Felt, Eric Petersen, David Wells, Roberto Litzenberger, and Gary Bauer.

Here is the link for the video stream. It's high-quality. I am watching Matt Cohn-Geier play Kiyokazu Nishikawa as I post this. Matches are nice and long: 15 points.
