What would you do and why?

I'd make the 20 point. Because White's 4 point is made, the upgrade from the 22 to the 20 is big.

I know that after your opponent rolls an opening 4-2 and you roll 2-2, you're supposed to make the 22 and 4 points, but making the 20 is fairly close. So here, there's lots more incentive to make the 20 due to the White builder on the 10 and the fact that if White anchors with a 6, Black's 4 point isn't worth as much.

Also, you could hit off the 7, instead of making point(s). I'm not sure how that compares to making the 20, but it doesn't seem like it does as much as locking up a fantastic point.

Personally, I like making the 20 also.

Here is what GNUBG had to say.
Spoiler:

24/20(2) was best, winning most often. 0.237 equity.
24/22 13/7* and 6/4(2) 5/1* were second best. Winning less often, but an increase in gammons. 0.196 and 0.192 equities.
24/22(2) 6/4(2) came in fourth. 0.149 equity.
Everything else was much further behind.

Good explanation, thank you!
