the discussion sort of treaded towards suicide, and Concerto answered (in response to a Q about suicide):

"If they are insane or a danger to others, no.

Otherwise, their decision about happens to their own body takes precedence over what you think should happen to it."

So my question was aimed at people who think suicide is a sin, yet also have this point of view.
