What about your obligation to 1Peter 3:15?

Honestly, the primary reason to question your beliefs is if you genuinely care about whether or not they are true. You clearly do not so it would be pointless for you to do so. We all find this topic interesting though; it is not anymore a waste of time for us than the next hobby.

Lol, I'm Catholic and gamble quite frequently - it's Protestants that hate gambling, not Catholics.

Anyway, I don't believe odell is Catholic. To say that discussing these things is 'meaningless' when he believes in eternal damnation, the real presence, etc.... proves he is not Catholic.

If he does think he is Catholic, I suggest talking to a priest.
