What do you believe the Vedas is? What do you believe the Vedas is?

From a standard Hindu view the Vedas is the divine word of the gods.

My question to those who do not believe the Vedas to be valid in what it states is, then, what do you believe the Vedas is? Why is it in existence and who benefited from falsely writing it?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandon_Vedas was a good man. He just liked to party a little too hard. That's why his famous last words to his chat buddies "I told you I was hardcore," are so sad. Vedas was simply trying to show off, to take as many drugs as he could. Unfortunately, he took a lethal dose.

I think it's amazing that the origins of the vedas stretch back into the pre-historic stone age. maybe one of the few (if not only) connection between that time and ours?

(except for the Neanderthals still living in the Caucuses and Himalayas, ldo.)
