I place this here as a contretemps to the theories of expanding space as noted in the other place and hopefully you will bear with me for a little as I attempt to bring to comprehension aspects of spiritual science which of course does not "see" the world and cosmos as purely material.

The x, y, and z axis are , in essence, abstracted qualities or more to the point dead issues more akin to a corpse. Five feet, ten inches or light years away, all from the same pot of abstractionist illusion.

An inner experience of the three axes can be appreciated if Man is brought into the issue. By placing one's arms to the side the qualitative feeling of the "x" axis can be perceived . Not only that but the "right' and "left" perceptions can be seen to differ in much the way we can perceive a left handed person as apposed to a right handed individual.

Correspondingly the "up" "down" perceptions can be qualitatively appreciated what is known as the "y" axis. Man's head is qualitatively different from his limbs and digestive system and this inner experience points to this qualitative difference .

And of course the front-back axis or the "z" axis can be appreciated in its qualitative difference.

To some, this may appear as trivialities but none the less the Cartesian coordinate system of Descartes not only considers all directions of the compass the same but also most importantly eliminates Man from the cosmos/world which is a logical non sequitur implicit in the system.

" The study of Man will lead to world/cosmic comprehension" and "the study of the world/cosmos will lead to the comprehension of Man".

I'll come back in hopes of pointing to direction in which the mathematics can present a qualitative experience for it is well within their abilities to enter into qualitative mathematics.

I offer my apologies to all as what I was attempting to present, in this approach is meager and is better said within this reference. It isn't easy but an unprejudiced look at the presentation of space with respect to will, feeling and thought to me, is stunning.

If you can wade through it I'll be happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. the best to you all.
