Will that be the same research that has shown that World of Warcraft Guild leaders are very good manager material and that Second Life meetings and education are effective?
Ofcourse a large part of the paranormal research from the sixties onwards can be attributed to the cold war scare and disinformation campaigns, where the russians even went as far as to fabricate movies of
bringing dogheads back to life and showed of various paranormal phenomena such as
telekinenis or the ability to view with ones finger (

I now believe Scientology played a large role in the paranormal upsurge of the last 4 decades. A motive would be there as to prove to the world the paranormal powers of the operating thetans if found to be true, or if found to be false, they could ride on the soviet scare and disinformation and keep the public from ever knowing it was found false.
Such massive funding for the
Stargate project. Such continuity. There would have to be a group working there that are convinced of their true paranormal powers. What best to pull these pseudo-scientists from a pool composed of the freshly established Scientology? Who better to consult than a true operating american thetan, when you are up against those vicious russian farmers who can kill the president by merely thinking about it?
I believe what happened is that either Scientology has falsely claimed such research as succesfull due to them, or they really had large part of it with key researchers being Scientologists. Perhaps they tricked the CIA into believing their expertise and successes?
