The foremost atheist in the world failed when he said that if he ever does become religious then it would be because of the drugs (for cancer) that he was taking.

he's implying that before cancer takes over, there's a chance he might convert to a certain religion. hence his stance is weakening. his pride is still the same, obviously.

How did Hitchens fail? Seems like he owned the world, drank and smoked, all while looking like a 40 y/o in a 60 y/o body.

He'll probably own cancer too, and then hunt you down so he can take a dump on your chest. A dirty, big, steaming post-cancer dump. He's holding it all in for you right now, and doubling up on the brussel sprouts.

Most atheists couldnt pick him out of a crowd of one, but you write a famous book and do a couple TV shows and suddenly to some you are "the pope of god disbelievers".
