It is a game called peehs, sheep backwards.

In sheep, your aim is to answer the questions in such a way that you have the same answer as the maximum number of players possible.

In peehs, the opposite is the case. Your ultimate goal is to answer the question with a unique answer, that no-one else answers. But it must be a correct answer or it will not count.

Yeah, is Google allowed here? In which case, everyone more or less has a list of the options in front of them. So the one that appears most obscure may be quite popular, because everyone who bothers to search will want to choose it. But some people won't bother, and will just donk with the first thing they think of. Maybe you could choose, like, the fourth-most-obscure option in each category and hope everyone else loses.

You are not supposed to research in Peehs. It is supposed to be based completely on your current knowloedge. Researching would make the game too easy.

The post does say "no research please" in it though.

there is a leveling aspect for sure.

You have to first list to yourself all the correct answers you know with no research, then you have to think how many others will know, then decide what level each subset of knowledge will go with etc etc.

If you only know one answer to a question, that's the only one you can give, but it might be worth guessing at one which you think is 50% chance of being right, if the answer you know is gonna score heavily. etc etc.

Obviously there is a huge advantage to knowing your subject, so it works like a trivia quiz and lavveling game.

we play a ton in pog and there is always at least one open peehs at any time, so feel free to look in if you are ever bored.

Ah, gotcha. But seems kind of impossible to enforce.

we run a ton of games in pog that are on the honour system.
