That's what I thought when I created this thread, see. I said, you know I just don't know if I should post in other threads because I don't think they'll get it. So I decided to make this thread where all my thoughts can be misunderstood in one place. It's more for me than you really. It helps me to learn how to express my thoughts better, because I admit for a long time I needed work. Just think of this as the..beginning..hopefully

Re: To Realize That We're God

My mom told me once that to get over all my fears I had to figure out what it was I was most afraid of. A family friend had figured this out and swears by it. My mom tried to pass it along to me but I could never get it. I'd say that for the last two - maybe even as much as three years now (more??) - I have thought about that question and it bothered me because I could never get it. The answer. I could never figure out what I was most afraid of. Every time I had it figured out I realized so much that I wasn't figuring it out at all..and this was a much deeper question. So I thought about it and thought about it and finally just tonight within the last half-hour I finally figured it out:

Re: To Realize That We're God

We will take our last breath and then open our eyes once again as if for the first time. This may or may not be frightening for you. It depends on how you prepared yourself for this day. If you did not prepare I imagine you would be filled with anxiety. If you did prepare then good for you, whatever that means.

Death.

You know what if you want it he'll treat you like a king if not you could be a murderer. A greater lesson is to be learned from the sum of all our parts. But each part will always be needed so go ahead and continue to miss.

Re: To Realize That We're God

I have found what I was looking for and that's what I preach. Do you know why? Because I know you are looking for it too. We may be different on the outside but on the inside our organs formed and operate a conscious that could've been transferred to the other and we'd still end up with the same results which we are now.

You feel what I feel and I want what you want.

If you die and I don't our bodies are still going to have the same amount of energy it's how we use it that sets us apart. My energy will be used through movement, thought, maintenance. Your energy will be used for the decomposition process that will begin to happen. After time your energy will absorb back into the earth, turn to grass, be eaten by cows and then eventually the cows will be eaten by me. And then it'll be my turn.

This process that takes us comes from the same source that made us. The Universe.

We observe the Universe. We observe that which created us. Go ahead, ask it questions.

Re: To Realize That We're God

Thermodynamics and the conservation of energy is in fact a scientific law, known by as many, as it is unknown.

What's largely unknown about it, by those who don't understand it well, is that it has nothing to do with 'God'. Whenever there is some sort of unity/symmetry discovered in nature, as such, people are always quick to label it 'God', but that label really means nothing, and could just as easily be labelled 'zebra' instead.

Re: To Realize That We're God

If I'm going to call it anything, I'll either call it what it is - a law of thermodynamics - or I'll call it 'not-God'.

For far too long, have we pointlessly answered 'God' to difficult questions. An answer that means nothing more than 'I don't know'.

Why does it rain? God.
Why is there thunder? God.
What is that big yellow thing in the sky? God.

Enough.

Such apathetic, unaware pantheism do fools make of monotheism.

Make a meal of that. There's plenty untapped in religious fervor yet.

A possible extinction cause: Either a sub-ocean floor methane bubble let loose or God farted. Either way you really don't want to be there for that.

Re: To Realize That We're God

You can be trusted. But first you have to do what it takes in order to be trusted. And when you reach that point you will be shown more. Don't make this out to be something more than what it is.

Trust is an endless expansion, never an absolute.

Ascendant power yields in the right individuals a caution and fear of harm.

Hippocrates was right. So was Robin Cook in Coma. Spoon out a piece of brain and flick it against the wall because **** it **** it **** it we need to get past this ****.

Re: To Realize That We're God

I stayed up for another beer just to tell this story so please pay attention.

never woulda hitchhiked to Birmingham if it hadn't been for love
never would I run through the pounding rain without one dollar to my name
if it hadn't been

Spoiler:

I'm writing this already knowing how the song ends. And I like it better that way. See there's two different ways of looking at things. This one way is kinda neat. Imagine yourself knowing only what you feel and never what's right in front of your face.

The problem with seeing is that you don't always get what you think you are seeing. The really bad part is that a lot of these situations are already in your life and you cant see past whatever it is that is making you not see clearly.

I'm not even really sure that most of you would give up what you are seeing for what you are feeling. You don't even know where to start.

There's a whole other world out there. One day you should look at it with your eyes shut.

Re: To Realize That We're God

God accomplishes infinitely many things in this supernaturally perfect 'finite' life that we're given.

Realizing that we are God is one of those I guess, though I don't think I've ever forgotten.

He has infinitely many aesthetic categories to realize, so it's not simple at all.

No, not simple..but still very possible to realize. It all compounds. All you have to do is set yourself into motion with the purpose of looking for clue's.

Your clue might not be my clue. Still I'll know mine and you'll know yours.

The first realization is to realize that you actually found a clue. If you found a clue then there must be something you're looking for. The clue just proves that it is looking for you too.
