Raising a Human Being Raising a Human Being

When a baby is born in this world, it is a soul. The home of the soul is paradise. However, this world is not paradise; it’s harsh and hostile.

Parents try to create a paradise for the child, but this fake paradise is not supposed to last indefinitely. The child must de-identify with this fabricated paradise and become “of this world”. Understand that the child / soul is not going to do this willingly.

When de-identifying with the fabricated paradise and identifying with the world, I call this going from the soul to the human animal. This is like swimming upstream. The soul’s sense of entitlement (and the will associated) has to be broken. This is achieved only through masculine judgment with wrath being the extreme end.

Now, providing this masculine judgment needs to be proportional and incremental. Going back, you start by providing the fabricated paradise on the one hand. Then, as the child gets older, you gradually introduce more and more masculine judgment.

soul
human animal <— soul

As the child has been socialized into the world, it’s time for the child to begin to learn how to pursue the true paradise. This is done through the self. Reconnection and re-identification with the soul must happen, but through the self. This means that the sense of entitlement must be re-established.

human animal —> self —> soul

This is a tricky process because the child is going to naturally be drawn to retrace and reverse the original action.

human animal <— soul
human animal —> soul

When this happens, and it happens universally and predominantly, then the development process for the human being has failed.

In order to do this right, there should be an overlapping process of (fabricated) paradise de-identification and paradise identification.

human animal <— soul
human animal —> self —> soul

Because of how counterintuitive and contradictory this process is, it can only be achieved if the child eventually has it explained and takes ownership of it for themselves.
