Your eyesight is improving - it's not an argument, and hence is not

Either a post/thread/comment is a troll or it isn't a troll. It doesn't become a troll, or abstain from being a troll based on the posters level of activity in the forum...either a comment is a troll or it isn't. I don't see how post counts or the color your name is written in should have anything to do with anything.
JFC I have no clue where you get the stones to
ever complain about someone else attacking a straw man. By your own definition:
Quote:
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response
The troll is the poster, not the post. Be consistent. Post count is not the issue; an unbanned troll can get a million posts. I suppose theoretically a mod could be a troll, but they would, per your own definition, have to consistently post with the primary intent of provoking other users, etc. Not the case with Jib.

Jib may not always be posting inflammatory comments for the purpose of getting a strong response out of people, but it's pretty inarguable that's what he was doing when he posted the quote in the title of this thread.
Yes, he was definitely kidding around when he posted that, and you and everyone else should have known that.

Again, you may smile and say thank you when other people piss in your cereal..........stop expecting me to do the same. I tend not to be happy blindly deferring to people who have proven time and again that they don't have any clue what they're talking about, call me crazy.
"I'm not happy about the threadlock bonanza" = smiling and saying thank you; blind deference? I mean, you may rage and put a fist through the monitor whenever something you don't like happens on a message board... stop expecting me to do the same.

I'd also appreciate it if you stopped calling me a jackass, thanks.
Less with the cereal-pissing and the taking it up the ass remarks, then. It's a give and take world. In any case I was only
trolling kidding around. Maybe you didn't get
the reference, but it was generally supportive of the anti-lockfest sentiment.
