The word religion is never in the bible used of Christianity. The word religion biblically is in opposition to true Christianity.

So as obnoxious as you might think it is, it is still the truth. Its only obnoxious to you because of a few things.

2Cr 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish (teh unbelievers):

2Cr 2:16 To the one (the unbelievers) [we are] the savour of death unto death; and to the other (those that believe and will believe) the savour of life unto life. And who [is] sufficient for these things?

2Cr 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

"Everyone" is up in arms because they think the reason why the killer killed is because he is a Muslim first and an American second. Nobody cares as much if somebody feels that way, they care if that person kilsl people because of that feeling.

I think, too, that there are many non-Muslim Americans who think a high percentage of Muslim Americans are secretly terrorists and, given the opportunity to get away with it, would turn into killers, whereas Christians would not.
