To find out if they give me a logical answer. That's because I've received some illogical replies in the last days, for instance comparison between historical facts and scientific theories (while in science new is better, in history the opposite is true), that Genesis if you read it metaphorically isn't in contradiction with science.
You were the only one who give me the right answer. No matter what the risk is, you can't control what you believe or not believe. If there were enough proves, atheists will believe in religion for sure, but if there's no proves they can't make themselves believe if they don't believe.

If I were you I would be very afraid of hell. Because if I would believe old testament is true I would think very seriously about the possibility that new testament may be true. And in new testament it says that those who don't believe in Jesus will go to hell for eternity.
