Saying I'm smarter than the God of the Bible is not unlike saying I'm smarter than Mr. Bean. You're just comparing yourself with the presumed intelligence of a fictional character based on the acts they've committed.

Does anyone have evidence today is any more likely to be the last days than the countless people who have constantly claimed as such over thousands of years?

This forum is for discussion and debate of god, religion and theology. That discussion includes the counter-views of god and religion as well. If you reject this as an abomination, what are you doing here?

Do you have any evidence that we are living at the end? Because, what you posted in the OP is no different than what's been occurring since the beginning of mankind.

I used to be an atheist, as well. I'm better now. Obviously, your critical thinking skills are a very serious problem for you. You come to a conclusion, but you have no proof. You might be a danger to your health and well being.

I suggest that you seek professional help immediately. Start with a priest and analyze your results. If you still think that your an atheist, then seek a medical doctor. You probably have something physically or mentally wrong with you.

You have a very good chance of correcting this, so don't give up.

Perhaps, you could start by talking to an agnostic, if you feel uncomfortable about the above options.

Do you know anyone that you could trust to take care of you? I know that this is not an easy thing to talk about, however you might need to get yourself a guardian/POA to handle all your affairs for you. It's important to know all of your options.

There is no such thing as hellfire torment in the Judeo-Christian Bible. I suspect the Roman Catholics got the idea from Dante's fictional hell. In turn, the Protestants got it from the Roman Catholics when they broke ranks during the Religious Reformation. In fact, I even started a thread in which I debunked the pagan-inspired hellfire dogma, and I did it by using the scriptures. Below is the weblink.

Who cares? Plenty of people believe in a hell which epitomizes suffering and torment. That is a morally bankrupt concept, and it remains so if your interpretation of the bible differs from their interpretation of the bible, or even if it is entirely made up.

Any agnostics ITT, just wondering how an agnostic would debate an atheist.

Most atheists are agnostics. Also, most Christians who post here would classify themselves as agnostic as well.
