I've just started listening to a dramatized NIV version of the Gospel of John on Bible Gateway. If anyone else would like to listen as well, here's a link to a page where you can find it. You can also find other books from the same audio Bible on that page (as well as chapters to choose from), or pick another audio Bible to listen to.

There are a lot of different versions/translations available on that page. I'm not an expert on all the different versions/translations of the Bible (I've only read some of the Bible and I've only read it in some of the translations), but I would recommend listening to one that is trustworthy.

Here's a question and answer on gotquestions.org that mentions six translations as "major": Why are there so many Bible translations, and which is the best?
