If Tebow doesn't win on Christmas Eve, is that proof that Jesus doesn't exist?

Looks like Splendour has dipped into the Christmas cheer a little early.

No more than him winning proved Jesus did exist. But after today, I'm pretty sure 4 Bills are convinced Jesus exists.

But now maybe Costas will tap the brakes a little.

A serious matter:

I'm calling for the banning of Splendour from this forum.

RGT used to be a place where atheists and believers could come and have fruitful, interesting discussions. It has now become a total joke - mostly because of the craziness that is Splendour. Just about every thread in here devolves into Splendour on one side going nuts, atheists on the other laughing at her and sometimes actually trying to reason with her, and the other theists and believers looking in from the outside, shaking their heads at the idea that Splendour represents them.

I'm an atheist. But I'm ashamed this forum is not being more welcome of believers because of the frustrating believers that do frequent it - Splendour, and to a lesser degree, StuPidasso and Pletho.

The last two at least usually stick to the point they are trying to make. Splendour is all o er the place and certifiably insane.

We don't need her here.

You're wasting your time. All of us have called for her to be banned at one time or another. The mods obviously don't see her as being a problem.

It's not like she hasn't given them plenty of opportunities to ban her. She has:

1) Posted links to NAMBLA.com (and never apologized or admitted it was wrong to do so)
2) Posted links to a white supremacist version of wikipedia (and never apologized or admitted it was wrong to do so)
3) Posted links to anti-semitic websites (and never apologized yadda yadda...)
4) Has made racist and homophobic statements (and never apologized yadda yadda...)
5) Has trolled the atheists repeatedly (by calling them "babies", "tiger cubs", "juvenile delinquents", and many other uncomplimentary things)

If none of those things has gotten her banned, merely being "disruptive" surely won't.

Yeah the Net's a place of wild morals.

It's no place for a religious crusader in a forum supposedly given over to religious topics.

Now why did they name this place RGT instead of Atheist Central. Was someone covering up something?

I've stayed subscribed to this thread but she is the one reason I'm not interested in participating further. Every time I go to a thread I find interesting she has ruined it.

And the atheists are the ones in the wrong in this forum. I had dedicated theist threads I stuck to and the atheists trolled them for spite and asked for them to be closed. madnak was smart. He left them alone.

I was much more contained there. Then they said no theist and no atheist only threads.

I think 2+2 should declare itself atheist so the theists can evacuate since they are determined to rule on here.

That's easier to do with posters like Joey Diamonds and festeringzit. They show up every few months, troll in a few threads, and are gone. I have them both on ignore and I barely notice when they're making an appearance in the forum.

I've tried the same with Splendour, but it doesn't work. Splendour posts in *every* thread. Even if most of us ignore her, there will always be a bunch of people who will engage her. Next thing you know, the thread is completely derailed by her nonsense. Not only that, but people will quote her posts so I'll still end up reading her nonsense -- despite having her on ignore.

She's terrible for the forum, I can't understand why nothing has been done to rein her in by the powers that be.

Haha yea. The thing is I want to participate in others but they are constantly quoting her posts that are all..bad. I've thrown her on ignore so that I can continue to read this thread and I guess if she ever gets banned I'll start reading other stuff.

What Splendour fails to comprehend is that this is a forum to discuss and debate Religion, God, and Theology. It isn't a forum solely for Christians. It isn't a forum to prosthelityze in without anyone calling you out on what you're posting.

There are plenty of Christian-only forums on the Internet where atheists (and non-Christians) are forbidden to participate. However, Splendour enjoys the negative attention she gets here, which is why she sticks around despite the 'abuse'.

The Gospel always goes with Apologetics.

I say you take the Gospel or make the Apologists leave and rename this forum. Of course the atheists sneaking on here probably won't be able to sneak on here any more once they don't use the name RGT any more.

Also if I'm forced off here lots of Christian on this site will know that this isn't a poker site. It's an atheist site.

I think it would be best for all of us if you just throw her on ignore too. If you can continue the discussion around her without anyone seeing it or responding it is more likely she eventually stops.

And yes I have no problems with theists as I want to learn more from both views. She has single handedly been a factor in turning me more away from Christians, which is sad, but she is just infuriating and I can't imagine feeling good about being associated with people like that.
